Recently, I had the honor of being featured in a local newspaper article highlighting the ideas and questions that led to the creation of my books.

Seeing the work discussed publicly was a quiet but meaningful moment. Not because of recognition alone, but because it reflected something deeper, the simple human drive to ask questions about the universe and our place within it.

Both Children of the Dark Void and The Shape of Everything began with curiosity.

Not the kind that looks for quick answers, but the kind that is willing to step back and ask whether the assumptions we live with are truly complete. From first-principles thinking to imagined futures among the stars, the common thread in my writing has always been exploration, of space, of knowledge, and of possibility.

The article described this journey as a desire to look at familiar ideas from a fresh perspective. That description felt right. Whether through fiction or nonfiction, my goal has never been to replace existing understanding, but to encourage thoughtful questioning, careful observation, and open curiosity.

Moments like this reminder in the newspaper are important not because they mark an end, but because they mark a Beginning. The work is still unfolding. New chapters are being written. New ideas are forming. And the long path of exploration continues forward.
